Since 2015, Sam has been an angel investor and advisor to deep learning focused AI start-ups. Before that he spent five years deeply immersed in the Japanese patent search market and emerging global IP strategy consulting field. As head of global business development at a leading patent research and analytics company, he worked closely with Fortune 500 corporate R&D, IP departments, and leading patent law firms. Outside of Amplified Sam is a loving father of two and enjoys learning foreign languages, playing guitar, and writing mediocre songs that are probably best kept to himself. 🎸🤫
